Product Engineer / Delivery Lead · January 2026 — present

• Own features from requirements to release, working with business stakeholders on technical solutions, estimates, risks, and dependencies.
• Combine hands-on frontend and Go backend development with delivery coordination across developers and related teams.
• The team builds product promotion tools for the main Magnit app. Its serving path handles thousands of requests per second at peak, with 99.9% meeting a response target in the tens of milliseconds.

Full-stack Developer / Feature Owner · October 2024 — January 2026

• Built the product promotion section of a seller dashboard as its sole frontend developer, using Vue 3, Pinia, and an internal UI library. Implemented product selection, bidding, campaign management, and API integration.
• Owned advertising statistics: designed the solution, contributed to its ADR and review, broke down the work, and implemented it with other engineers.
• Designed and helped implement a pipeline processing thousands of view events per second at peak. Kafka ingested events, Redis aggregated counts, and RabbitMQ buffered batched PostgreSQL writes. Event deduplication and idempotent batch processing prevented double counting during retries.
• Built a backend-driven statistics UI so new metrics could be added through backend configuration without frontend changes. Helped launch and support the product.

2022 — 2024

Full-stack development & technical leadership

• Worked on a large internal system with Vue 2, Vuex, Java 8, and Spring Boot. Later contributed to its Vue 3 migration through component changes, code reviews, task breakdown, and regression checks with QA.
• Helped replace Webpack with Vite, reducing the production build from about five minutes to one minute on the same hardware.
• Led development of an internal portal using Python, Django, and Wagtail, working with four junior developers. Delivered an MVP before the six-month deadline; it was adopted and handed over to another team.
• Led hands-on implementation of a financial system rebuild with Java 17, Spring Boot, Vue 3, and Vuetify, with guidance and reviews from a senior engineer. The team retained the existing MySQL database and built asynchronous reporting with RabbitMQ.
• Created five technical assessment tasks with evaluation criteria and conducted over 40 technical interviews, independently or with colleagues.

Frontend → Full-stack development

• Started with frontend work using Vue 2, Vue Router, Vuex, and occasionally React. Implemented interfaces, API integrations, and animations with GSAP and Three.js.
• Expanded into Python backend development with Flask and Django, relational databases, Celery, and external REST APIs. Developed complete frontend and backend features with other engineers.
• Proposed and built a GitLab CI/CD MVP, adopted for several projects. Automated Docker image builds and registry publication, with deployment through Portainer, and documented the workflow.
